About Us
OUR MISSION
To promote sustainability among Cecil County nonprofit organizations by securing resources from philanthropic investments in our community.
OUR GOALS
With support of local donors, CFCC invests large donations and creates permanent endowments, generating ongoing earned income that will be used to reinvest in the community year after year. CFCC is also committed to strengthening the nonprofit sector by increasing access to high-quality education and professional development. Through our working relationship with the Cecil County Public Library and their Business Information Center, the Library will offer workshops, training and resources for nonprofit professionals.
CFCC works directly with community nonprofits to assist their outreach efforts to their own donors. There are hundreds of nonprofit organizations in Cecil County, but CFCC has identified approximately 100+ organizations that are active with stable boards of directors and dedicated donors. CFCC’s initial focus is to help these nonprofits grow their financial resources and increase their long-term impact.
