Polly Binns

Polly Binns has served as Executive Director of the Fair Hill Foundation since 2019. As a consultant, she specializes in strategic and project planning, public-private partnership development, and fundraising for nonprofit organizations and community colleges. She is also associated with McNellis Compression Planning®, a six-step visual planning process used extensively in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors.

Polly began her career at Cecil College in 1990, where she spent 13 years leading the Foundation and College’s resource development efforts. From 2003 to 2013, she served as Executive Director of the Council for Resource Development (CRD), the national association of community college resource development professionals, representing more than 1,600 members across the country.

Throughout her career, Polly has built extensive expertise in volunteer management, strategic planning, project management, fundraising campaigns, annual and capital giving, planned giving programs, grant development, alumni relations, feasibility studies, public relations, marketing, and freelance writing.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Writing from Towson University.
